About the Fund
Encouraging and Equipping Students
The Clarkston International Bible Church (CIBC) Scholarship Committee seeks to encourage and equip Christ-centered students who are preparing to follow God’s call into ministry or in the marketplace. Our hope is that each applicant will be strengthened to lovingly engage their communities, stand courageously for Jesus Christ, and pursue education that brings blessing to themselves, their families, their churches, and beyond. Through the granting of scholarships, we desire to support students who are committed to serving the church and advancing the Great Commission in meaningful ways. We also prayerfully trust that future scholarships will be sustained through the faithful generosity of members and private donors, whose gifts not only invest in the lives of recipients but also bring joy to the giver and honor to our Lord.
Purpose Statement
Clarkston International Bible Church (CIBC) desires to make disciples locally and globally by advancing the cause of theological education as well as education in general through the granting of appropriate scholarships to qualified, Christ-centered individuals.
In particular, the Church wishes to assist in preparing students who will know how to lovingly engage their communities and make a courageous stand for Jesus Christ and the gospel in both ministry and the marketplace. It hopes to equip students to serve the church and fulfill the Great Commission by aiding them to prepare for God’s call to ministry or perhaps His divine prompting towards a vocation that will result in a great blessing for themselves, their families, their communities and the church.
Gifts to scholarship funds will hopefully bring the greatest possible joy to the donor and glory, praise and honor to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Application Deadlines:
- July 1 for Fall semester awards (reviewed and awarded July/August)
- November 1 for Winter semester awards (reviewed and awarded November/December)
- April 1 for Spring/Summer semester awards (reviewed and awarded April/May)
